"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!"

"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." Psalm 103:1-5

I awoke extra early this morning... and God reminded me of this wonderful Psalm... His Spirit is like that, when we are weary and feeling down, HE ministers to us, is sweet and gentle ways.
My brothers wife, Shan died one month ago today.... we are still grieving her death. My mother, went to her and sat with her daily for the last 4 months of her life, doing what she could to comfort, and encourage Shan and her family. My Mama is nearly 80 with a variety of health issues, today she is in hospital fighting for her breath. I am praying, with many others for her breath and strength to be renewed; for GOD in His mercy to restore her to life and fullness thereof, one more time... and the Lord reminds me of all His benefits, and all His mighty power and His limitless love. I praise HIS wonderful name, for always hearing the cry of our hearts.
Father of lights, I thank You for Your many blessings; love, life, forgiveness, redemption, healing, provision, healing, salvation, joy, peace, hope and eternal life.... OH but a few of the benefits of knowing Jesus; How very blessed we are!

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

This Psalm (133:1) Came instantly to mind several times both yesterday and this morning... as I had an opportunity to talk with friends. I am refreshed and encouraged by your love and concern for me and my family. GOD has placed such wonderful brothers and sisters in my life... who love and care for me, and best of all pray for me... I just want to thank God for each and every one of you... if you are reading this, chances are you are one of them... Thank you dear one, for your unity in the Holy Spirit of our Great God and King... Jesus Christ. May the LORD pour out His blessings upon you, and cause you to know the fullness of the goodness of God in Christ. I love the way HE loves us! I love the way He loves me directly through you... Grace and peace to you!

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell toghether in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing-- Life forevermore." Psalm 133:1-3

But to the Son He says; Your throne, O God is forever and ever;

My Mama always told me; "Jeanne, if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing." Well those early childhood tapes remain in tact.. and thus I have offered nothing here lately. It seems my life has been one trial after another of recent, leaving my soul downcast and complaining. I am so thankful that the LORD hears my complaints and comforts me with His Holy Spirit. This morning, HE set my eyes back upon Jesus, where they need to be at all times, and my hope is renewed. Praise be to GOD!
The Epistle to the Hebrews is one of my very favorites, and as I meditated in the first few chapters this morning... I couldn't help but think; " Oh that people would read the Bible."
What an evil day we live in, truly since the fall of Adam and Eve, every day, has been evil, perilous and indeed frightening... But we have a God, that has sent His own Son to rescue us and buy us back from the deceitfulness of sin and it's ultimate outcome: death.
Consider just a few of these verses;
"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, throught whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person" "Let all the angels of God worship Him."
"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away." "How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation;"
"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels; for the suffering fo death, crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."
"He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death HE might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil."
May the Word of God, stir your heart to not only consider Jesus, but receive Him with thanksgiving and gratefulness. There is no other name under heaven, by which we must be saved. I am thankful, that the LORD saves me once unto eternal life, but day after day, from the nature I am so prone to. Glory to HIS wonderful name.
Thanks for stopping by, grace and the peace of God to you and yours.

"A wise son makes a glad father" Proverbs 10:1a

I love the book of proverbs... so practical yet deeply spiritual... It has alot to say about sons, it is even written as to a son, from an honorable and wise father (Father God).... Well today my husband and I are excited as our son, is returning home from nearly a year abroad. We are anticipating seeing his handsome face, and hugging him with our own arms... listening to the wisdom he has received from his time in Europe, gleaning in the fields of Siegerland; Siegen, Germany. We are blessed because God has given us the special blessing of being parents to 5 beautiful and extraordinary children, of whom, this son is one... He is our middle boy, serving Jesus from a young age. We don't know where, when or how God will call him out..... but we know that HE has and will... What a joy, to know that your sons and daughters love Jesus Christ.
Father GOD, thank you so much for all you have so graciously bestowed upon us. Thank you for the wonderful priviledge of training up as best we could these dear ones. Father, thank you for forgiving us our many sins, and helping our children to forgive us to. Happy Father's Day Heavenly Father....

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God;"

So many paths, we're told these days....all roads lead to Rome.
Many today, believe that if one is earnest in their spiritual pursuits, they will inevitably wind up in heaven, or whatever they would presume to call the infinite blissful communion with God.
We live in a day of amazing wonders, technological progress, medical breakthroughs, lavish liesures and luxuries. We all seem to get caught up in the maddening pace of life and the demands of whatever urgency beckons us. At the end of one's life however we are reduced to what is really essential and important; most of us would agree to love and be loved these are the critical matters.
The God of the Bible proclaims Himself to be Love and Light, the great I AM.... Omnipotent; all powerful, omnipresent; everywhere at all times, omniscient; all knowing. HE is the creator of all that is, has been or ever will be. He is the high and lofty one, that inhabits eternity. This God moves upon the hearts of men, by His Holy Spirit, to cause them to consider Him, and by choice seek to know Him. He is a relational God, wanting fellowship with man, though fallen and sinful, still of great value to Him. So much so, HE sent His eternal Son, into space and time to be born among us, a human child, to live as we do, tempted in all things as we are, yet HE remained sinless, undeveloped, even to His death on a Roman Cross...... His name is Jesus, He rose up bodily from the grave 3 days later, showing himself to many in that region, and ascended to heaven 40 days later. I believe the cross of Christ to be the central point for all of human history... It is the hinge-pin on which all else turns. It is all about JESUS. Each of us, must come to terms with what GOD says, and requires of us. No matter what path you may have been taking, take the time and effort to seriously examine for yourself, the claims of Christ. You have nothing to loose (accept your soul), and everything to gain. Don't take my word for it, I am a nobody, but please investigate the Holy Bible for yourself. It is not a huge volume, although all the deep mysteries of God are contained in it. You will not discover these all, in one reading, nor a thousand readings, but if you genuinely desire to know truth, and ask God to show you His truth... HE will.
Many say the bible has been re-written and defiled over the many years, and through so many translators, but I find, those whom make these claims, have never taken the time to read the bible at all. Even skeptics, that have set out to dispute the scriptures, have become converted in their own souls. The bible is alive... It is the one book, that will read the reader.... Check it out for yourself.
I John 4:2-3; "By this you know the Spirit fo God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that doesn not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." 3 John 4

Looking up words in my new "Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary" with over 315,000 entries is informative to say the least... Just for fun I looked up................ truth;
1. the true and actual state of a matter. 2. conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement. 3. a verified or indisputeable fact, proposition, principle, or the like: mathematical truths. 4. the state ofr character of being true. The dictionary definitions go on and on. However the bible holds truth up as the essence of all that is right, honest, worthy, and more......... God declares that He is the "God of truth" in Deuteronomy 32:4
"That HE desires truth" for and from man in; Psalm 51:6 Jesus said of Himself in John 14:6; "I AM the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father, but by me." Also that HE would send the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth, that would lead us into all truth... John 16:13 and in John 8:32; "that you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.....
Pontius Pilate asked of Jesus while trying him, "What is truth?" John 18:38.... while he was looking at truth in the eye, not seeing Him for whom HE truly was....
As a mother, this is the truth I desire to see, hear and know that my children walk in. It isn't enough for them to just know about Jesus, nor believe in Him as a historical figure or even their own Savior; they must live their lives in such a way that declares daily both to them and to others that they firmly trust the veracity, the authenticity of Christ and His scriptures. To be willing to give their lives for these deeply personal convictions. This is my earnest prayer and desire to see all; especially all my children walking in the truth of Christ Jesus. Pray with me for those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth.....Jesus, Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.

"For this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus, concerning you" I Thesalonians 5:18

Too often I find, that it is easy to complain, to feel sorry for myself; to worry, be nervous and upset.... but God, has given me a great gift.................
FREE WILL.......... Therefore I WILL:
I will enter Your gates, with Thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter Your courts with Praise... I will say, this is the day the LORD has made.... I will rejoice, for HE has made me glad... I will do that which I know in my heart is right and which His word declares is good, right and true..
I will trust in the LORD at all times. I will call upon the name of the Lord, so shall I be saved from my enemies. I will give thanks unto the Lord, from whom comes my help. I will praise Him all the days of my life, thus shall my soul be satisfied. I will rejoice in the Lord and sing praises to His name. I will rejoice always, I will pray without ceasing, I will give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus, concerning me. I will love the LORD my God with my whole heart. I will love my neighbor as myself; I will give and believe God will give to me in good measure. I will trust in the LORD with all of my heart and lean not on my own understanding.
Will I do all these things well or perfectly? Most likely not, but that is not the point...
I will to Just do it! As a child of the Father, I need to trust and obey; I choose with my will!
Lord help me, often I just want to whine, but in my heart of hearts I want to do Your will,
Oh LORD, my strength and my redeemer.
And I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
