"Seek MY face, Oh Lord, Your face will I seek."

I was thinking about this text this morning... as I read my bible, thinking about seeing the face of Christ Jesus, and knowing in my spirit how wonderful, delightfull and fullfilling it will be, at last to see His beautiful scarred face. It came to me, that when I pray for my grandchildren, I see their beautiful faces in my mind's eye, and the whole of their personality rushes to greet me. I believe this is what God is telling us... when He says' "Seek MY face", He is saying getting to know Me, really know Me... Experience the fullness of My unfailing Love and know the depths of My eternal personality. Think about that for a moment. As we often read at the end of a Psalm, the exhortation to Selah...to ponder, take time meditate upon...
OH dear Saint meditate on our wonderful GOD today. Take time to consider Him who suffered and died in our place on the cruel cross of Calvary.. Hebrews tell us, He did this for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and sat down, at the right hand of GOD. Oh the wonder of the fullness of the goodness of GOD in Christ Jesus.
How deeply do you know Him? To what degree have you invited Him into your life, your family, your work? Do you know Him like you know your dad? Your husband or wife? Your best friend? Jesus wants to exceed the intimacy of each and every other relationship in our lives... but He never comes, until invited and welcomed. Get to know Him more intimately today. He is only an earnest, heartfelt prayer away. To seek His lovely face, and know His heart, this is my desire.

If the SON sets you free, you shall be free in"deed"

God is so good... I am excited to have begun a new bible study, through "Setting Captives Free" GOD is setting me free as He promised to do, at the LORD's table... where I will feast on Jesus, and on His word.. for only HE can set me free from sin, specifically the sins of gluttony and laziness. Today was the second day of my 60 days of learning to walk in obedience and faith, that I may finally be set free from the insatiable appetites of my flesh. Lord I confess to You my sins and ask for Your help to get me through to victory and wholeness.... Holiness... is what I long for, and what I need. Thank you Jesus.. For this ministry.. help me to make it for YOUR glory and not my own... Thank you Lord... amen.

"Thus says the LORD; 'I will perfect that which concerns you." Psalm 138:8

Today is a new beginning for me, and as I began a journey, the Lord so kindly reminded me of this promise.... HE will indeed perfect that which concerns me. It seems so amazing, so broad... yet am I full of faith enough to claim it for the specific??? You bet! Therefore my heart is encouraged and I am excited about a new season. I must set my eyes upon Jesus, for HE is the perfector of my faith, as well as the author of life, my life, my faith, salvation and every other good thing. Praise to His glorious name!
Lord, I ask you to help me today, to all that I think, say or do, as unto You, for your glory and not for my own vain-glory. GOD is so good, HE is worthy to be praised. May His grace abound to you, today and everyday, through Christ our LORD, amen.
