"Strengthen the feeble knees and the hands that hang down."

Well last Wednesday, my husband Ron had total knee replacement on his right leg... Any of you who know Ron, know that he needed surgery for that badly bowed leg... GOD is so good! I had prayed that Ron would come through his surgery with little or no pain. The LORD continues to show me how truly small my faith is, for HE showed up and showed out, as my friend Jane likes to say... The LORD brought Ron through indeed, with a straight leg, and no pain.... THe nurses told me, that normally a person will say their pain is a 20, on a scale of 1 - 10....
Ron is resting alot, and using the constant motion machine. He is able to get up and walk with crutches and do exercizes to strengthen the muscles, tendons and ligaments that were all effected... He is bored, but that I am sure is to be expected. Thank you for praying for Ron. HE is truly the God of wonders, power and might... and HE not only hears our prayers, but faithfully answers them... GLORY to HIS GREAT NAME!

"GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH, A VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE."

In Light of all the images we behold daily on our TV sets.... the ravaged region of the Gulf coast. Lives lost and being lost, homes and businesses destroyed. So much increasing devastation. What can we do to help??? We can and must send money, material, support and we must pray without ceasing.. WE must call upon the LORD, whom is worthy to be praised and stand on the promises of His word. Meditate in His word today and be strengthened in your souls. We as believers are called to put ourselves out, to help, to be involved, to care. Father help us, as instruments of YOUR grace to be helping those in need, and to love them with the love of Jesus Christ, in His glorious name we pray, amen.

Ps 46:1-11
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, who has made desolations in the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; he burns the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
