Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. Matthew 24:42

I have been reading the Jerusalem Post everyday, since all the missles began flying between Israel and Lebanon... I am not terribly political.. but I do believe we as children of God (true Israel) are called to be watchful, and to pray.. Today is the day remembered as Tisha Be'av the day the temples (2) were destroyed. Devout Jews fast and pray traditionally on this day, and read the Lamentations, with wailing, before the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
I have not yet been to Israel, but one day, I will go up to the new Jerusalem to worship the Lamb of Glory. It has just been on my heart to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as the Psalms instruct us to. Below if you are interested is an article from the Jerusalem Post, http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1154525792640&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

on the lack of fair reporting around the world, and the result: increasing anti-semitism world-wide. I am no prophet (though I ask GOD for this gift) but in my heart I believe it will become increasingly more difficult to take a biblical stance supporting Israel, and only God knows how this will all shake out.. but we are living in the last days, and we need to watch and pray... May we be virgins whose lamps are full, and wicks trimmed... ready to go when the Bride-groom cometh... HE told us, no man knows the day, nor the hour, but be ready, for He will come when it is least expected.... Join me in praying for GOD's will to be done in all the earth, and His Kingdom come. Watch and pray
